Ideally located with a short stroll to town centre, The Birks of Aberfeldy, Wade’s bridge, river Tay, Aberfeldy's 9 hole golf course and children's park.
Easy walking distance to all the lovely cafes, restaurants and pubs. 15-20min walk to Aberfeldy Distillery, the home of Dewar’s whisky. Castle Menzies is only about a 5 minute drive over Wade's bridge and near Highland Safari. Loch Tay is just a 10 minute drive straight down the road from Ivy Cottage. There you will find the beautiful village of Kenmore with its unspoiled beach, Taymouth Marina and The Courtyard.
Fancy a bit of hillwalking? The Schiehallion and Ben Lawers are right there overlooking Loch Tay.

Downstairs, you will find a well equipped kitchen with dining area, American style fridge freezer with ice dispenser, electric cooker with oven, dishwasher and washing machine.

The comfortable living room includes a cosy electric fireplace, a large Smart HD TV with Sky channels also allowing you to log in to your own Netflix account etc. and a vintage Nintendo games console.
The living room leads to a conservatory with a pool table and wall mounted TV. You can then enter your private garden through the conservatory door.
The main bathroom is also located downstairs and includes a bath and shower.

Guests have full access to the entire property.
We now also offer full access at member’s discount to all Live Active Highland facilities (swimming pool, gym etc.) at Breadalbane Community Campus which is located behind Ivy Cottage. Your voucher will be at the cottage upon your arrival.

All bedrooms are upstairs, two king size, one single. The main bathroom with bath and shower is downstairs, with a further en-suite in the main bedroom upstairs.
Children are welcome, but please note the cottage is not child-proof. We do have a baby travel cot and high chair available on request, anything else required is the guest’s responsibility.

**Please note pets are not allowed at Ivy Cottage. This is due to our many returning guests with pet allergies and those who prefer to book pet free accommodation.

**Scottish Short Term Let Licensing Scheme:

The Scottish Government has introduced a requirement for all self catering accommodation to be licensed. As an existing operator we have until 1 October 2023 to apply, with the local council having a further 12 months to review our application and decide to grant our licence. Ivy Cottage is registered with HMRC, already complies with all of the health & safety requirements required to grant a licence, has operated since October 2021 and has never been subject to any complaints from local residents. As such we are confident our licence will be granted. However we are required to notify potential guests that, like all other self catering properties in Scotland, should our licence not be granted we would need to cease trading and cancel bookings. Should this occur all monies paid would be refunded in full and our liability is limited to monies paid to us.
